This guide will help you to evaluate whether you need a beginners or intermediate course for Excel or whether you might benefit from some degree of blended learning.

Excel Learning Needs Assessment: Beginners or Intermediate?

Answer the 14 questions below to check whether you should start to learn Excel at a beginners level or whether you are ready to embark upon an intermediate level Excel training course.

As a general rule of thumb, scores of 85% or over on this test would usually indicate that you are ready to take an intermediate course. Anything below 35% and you should start at a beginners level. Scores between 36% and 84% suggest that you might benefit from some level of beginners/intermediate blended learning weighted in favour of beginners at the lower end and weighted in favour of intermediate topics at the higher end.
