What's the difference between Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite?

Adobe Creative Cloud is Adobe's platform of Cloud-based creative design and desktop publishing apps and tools (such as PhotoShop, Indesign, Illustrator and so forth) which is a subscription-based service for both the All Apps "CC for Teams" suite and for individual apps.

Adobe Creative Suite is Adobe's legacy suite of desktop publishing apps. Old timers will recall that it was licensed with a traditional EULA and the software was physically installed from a disk.

These days, our Adobe courses are delivered on Creative Cloud.

Notes: Adobe InDesign Terminology in Layman's Terms:

1) In computer graphics a bézier curve is a curve which makes use of a mathematical formula to define the control points of the curve (and its scale) to produce a smooth and continual arc.

2) A Clipping Path can be thought of as a technique for removing backgrounds from images and displaying a portion or section of that image within a shape. The path itself is made up of sections with anchor points which together pin an outline of the image. With InDesign the Clipping Path is a "smart" feature and the software can create the path for you with just one click without the need for indepth knowledge of the technique often required by graphic design software.

3) Alpha Channels give you granular control over the transparency of a graphic based upon colour using one or more of the Red, Green and Blue channels. When you import a PhotoShop image (PSD) into InDesign the software will identify the Alpha Channel transparency information within that image.
