This one-day Copilot beginners course provides a thorough grounding for those needing to effectively harness Copilot's capabilities from within your SharePoint and MS Teams framework.

Copilot's integration with Teams and SharePoint creates a powerful productivity and automation funnel for business communications and content management and enables you to customise Copilot's responses for your internal knowledge base.

On this course you will learn to unlock this potential with a future-ready approach to Copilot integration.

We introduce learners to core techniques for shortening the space between tasks and outcomes for your organisation's comms and content platforms. We also focus upon maintaining context, security, best practice and good governance when leveraging Copilot's capabilities.

The course is a one-day, instructor-led event which will be conducted either on-site at your organisation's premises or as a live virtual classroom event via MS Teams. Courseware will be provided electronically.

What are the Copilot Integration Course Prerequisites?

This entry-level, non-technical course is intended for users, admins and those new to Copilot integration within Microsoft 365's communication and content platforms.

Learners should ideally be familiar with Teams and SharePoint up to a user level of competency, but no prior knowledge of Copilot (nor the internal workings of LLMs or cognitive machine learning) is needed.

These are corporate in-house training courses conducted at your workplace for small groups. You should aim to book at least a month in advance and the maximum group size is ten per course.

One-Day Copilot Integration Training Course Cost

This course costs £825.00 plus VAT inclusive up to six delegates. There is also a cost of £170.00 p/d to cover accommodation and travel within mainland UK (for long distances travel time charges may also apply). If you have more delegates they can added for £50.00 plus VAT per person p/day up to a limit of 10.

This course is also available as a virtual learning training event taught via Microsoft Teams. This option is charged out at £825.00 plus VAT p/day inclusive up to 6 delegates.

Notes: Understanding Microsoft Copilot in Layman's Terms

1) In brief, Copilot 365 can summarise Teams meetings and chats into clear actionable points, draft or refine documents in SharePoint, and also suggest workflows or content layouts.

By working directly with your files, conversations and sites, it saves time on routine work and helps you focus on higher‑value activities.

2) You can think of Microsoft Graph as the central map of your Microsoft 365 environment: it collects your emails, calendars, files, chats and more into one place.

Copilot leverages this to understand your work context, so it can give answers and suggestions directly relevant to your documents, meetings and conversations.

3) To summarise, your Copilot per-user licenses help you maintain good governance within your organisation. All interactions are governed by your organisation's Microsoft 365 security, privacy and compliance controls (including data, GDPR and role‑based access).

By comparison, Copilot's free version doesn't integrate with your compliance framework, so while it's useful for general queries, it can't safely access or reason over your company's protected data.

Think of the free Copilot as a demo smart car you can test drive in the wild, whilst the licensed version is it's tamed alter ego, fitted with your company's locks, alarms and sat‑nav.

4) A Copilot bot is an AI assistant embedded into apps to help users complete tasks through natural interaction. Bots follow fixed, predefined scripts within a narrow pre-defined context.

This makes them different to AI agents which are more autonomous systems that can reason, adapt and act across different situations.
