Introduction to Advance Steel Training Course for Steel Fabrication 3D Modelling

The Introduction to Advance Steel training course is a two-day event that covers the basic requirements for effective steel fabrication detailing and modelling with Computer-Aided Design. It is intended to introduce beginners to the Advance Steel environment, imparting best practices working quickly, efficiently and accurately with the aid of Advance Steel's suite of smart elements, connections, beams and plates for designing steel structures.

This corporate small-group event is conducted either on-site at your premises (within mainland UK) or as a virtual classroom event. Our small-group essentials Advance Steel training course covers the most common 3D fabrication features that users need to become fluent in within the Advance Steel environment.

Advance Steel Beginners Training Course Prerequisites

A working knowledge of AutoCAD is required to attend this course equivalent to our beginners AutoCAD 2D course. Learners should have a good familiarity with the Windows 10 or 11 environment including navigating, files and folders and opening, closing and saving documents. Courseware will be provided electronically.

On-site Advance Steel Beginners Training UK

These are corporate in-house training courses conducted at your workplace for small groups. You should aim to book at least a month in advance and the maximum group size is eight per course.

Our 'face-to-face' closed courses for Advance Steel are delivered as private events and afford more flexibility than off-the-shelf courses with opportunities to tailor content to fit your particular learning needs. Your trainer will discuss your requirements with you prior to the course date.

Live Virtual Classroom Advance Steel Beginners Courses

If you'd rather that your team learns remotely, these small-group private Advance Steel courses are also available as live virtual, interactive sessions from the comfort of your own office or workplace. Two-Day Introduction to Advance Steel Training Course for Beginners Cost: This course costs £1600.00 plus VAT and is available at this price for anywhere between one and six delegates (plus trainer travel expenses for mainland UK). More learners can be added for £50.00 plus VAT per person p/day up to a limit of 8.

This Advance Steel Beginners course is also available as a live virtual learning training event taught via Microsoft Teams. This option is charged out at £1600.00 plus VAT p/day inclusive up to 6 delegates.

Courses can usually be tailored to suit your particular learning needs at no extra cost. However, please note that for fully bespoke Advance Steel courses, we can only provide you with a quote for training and courseware once we have evaluated your requirements.
