We have Adobe trainers who deliver Captivate training across most of the United Kingdom including popular locations such as London, Milton Keynes, Reading, Oxford, Swindon and Cambridge.

On-site Adobe Captivate Multimedia Courses in the United Kingdom

Our 'face-to-face' closed courses for Adobe Captivate are delivered as private courses for your delegates offering more flexibility than off-the-shelf public courses and topics taught can often be tailored to match your learning needs. One of our trainers will discuss your training requirements with you prior to the course.

These Adobe Captivate training courses are conducted at your workplace for small groups (either as face-to face or virtual classroom instructor-led training) and are exceptional value and very popular. You will usually need to book at least one month in advance. We can attend anywhere in the UK (for overseas requirements, please enquire). On rare ocassions travel supplements may apply for Adobe Captivate training in Central London to cover additional expenses such as congestion charges, but we will endeavour to waive these when possible.

The course is available on any version of Adobe Captivate.

For other eLearning authoring DTP courses see also our Articulate 360 and TechSmith Camtasia courses.

Live Virtual Classroom Adobe Captivate Multimedia Course, United Kingdom and Beyond

If you have a group of staff that you would prefer to be tutored remotely rather than having a trainer come out to you these small-group Adobe Captivate courses are also available Online as live virtual, interactive training sessions from the comfort of your own office or workplace. These live instructor-led courses are taught via MS Teams video conferencing.

Why choose virtual learning? As we are all becoming more used to Online learning and live virtual meetings it has become apparent that the virtual classroom method of delivery has many advantages over traditional face-to-face learning venues.

If you are looking for local training near you, then you can't get any closer to your doorstep than you can with virtual learning.

Our virtual learning Captivate courses cater for groups of up to ten people and your learners benefit from full and immersive interaction with your trainer just as if they were in the classroom with you, with engaging hands-on training via advanced live video conferencing that is further enhanced by features such as live chat, private chat, and sharing screens and documents.

You can find out how to set up Microsoft Teams for a live Online virtual course here (Virtual Learning with MS Teams).

Adobe Captivate Terminology in Layman's Terms

1) For our purposes, Full Motion Recording in Adobe Captivate would mean an instance in which Captivate recorded a video being played on a computer as well as things such as mouse movement or a "drag and drop" action, that take place on screen during the playback frame-by-frame.

When you start to learn about Captivate recording options it will become clear why this is important to know since Captivate has other modes of recording which treat the mouse actions and so forth differently to the video playback.

Captivate is also capable of creating a separate screen-shot-based animation of the mouse movement using the Adobe Media Encoder and in such instances, the video playback and the mouse movement are separately integrated into your Captivate project. On this course you will learn how to use Captivate settings for different types of recording.

2) From Captivate 2019 onwards, the software now features a Gaze Event in VR, which is an action that is triggered when the user focusses upon a particular interactive element for a given period of time.

3) In a nutshell, Responsive Design ensures cross-platform compatibility across different devices and screen sizes. When you create a Responsive Project in Adobe Captivate this ensures that you only need to create it once, rather than having to create multiple versions for device compatibility.
