Our one-day advanced Adobe Captivate course is delivered as a private event at your workplace (or, as a live virtual classroom course) and is intended for the "Classic" version for small groups of up to 10 learners.

During the course you will extend upon skills learnt during the Captivate beginners course, further developing your understanding of Captivate projects and learning to work with advanced features such as Screencast (video screen capture), user-defined variables, complex interactions and conditional scripting in order to create interactive, on-demand eLearning content, tutorials and quizzes.

Adobe Captivate Advanced Training Course Prerequisites

In order to attend this course you should already have basic Adobe Captivate skills and knowledge equivalent to our Captivate Beginners training course.

Notes: Adobe Captivate Terminology in Layman's Terms

1) Screencasting is simply the capturing of audio and video from your computer screen (and microphone), often in order to create a walk through of the steps for a tutorial which you can later use in your learning content.

2) The Advanced Interaction panel provides you with an overview of all the interactive instances and objects within your Captivate project allowing you to filter, analyse and review your slides based upon properties such as Success or Failure, Number of Attempts, time limits, scoring and considerably more. This panel is much under-used in Adobe Captivate but highly useful and well worth learning about.

3) In Adobe Captivate the Aggregator allows you to combine multiple bite-sized tutorials into one large tutorial with a table of contents.
